getting here

WeGo Kayaking's main office is located in Port McNeill (The Gateway to the Broughton Archipelago), 4 hours north of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. All of our kayak tours take place from various launch points located on Vancouver Island (we like to call it adventure island!). We are always available to help you make your way here for the start date of your trip as outlined in our Essential Travel Info guide.

All of our kayak trips include a free transporation option with the exception of our Johnstone Straits expeditions. For our Gulf Islands and Clayoquot Sound expeditions you can travel with us or meet us at the launch site. The launch site directions are detailed in our Essential Travel Info guide that we provide you when you book your tour. Our Johnstone Strait tours depart from the town of Port McNeill. Port McNeill can be accessed directly by car, bus or plane. Port Hardy has the closest commercial airport.

Please visit our maps page to see the launch areas and our Trip Prep page for assistance planning your adventure.
