All the members of our WeGo Kayaking team are very proud of our outstanding safety record. In nine years of operation, we have maintained an impeccably clean safety record. For your safety and peace of mind, all of our trips are backed up by a 24-hour a day safety net and we have emergency logistics in place in the event that they should ever be required. Our equipment is maintained to the highest standards and has been extensively field tested to ensure strength and quality.

WeGo Kayaking operates its own sea kayak trips and therefore great care is taken in choosing our guides. Our professional adult leaders are certified in Wilderness First Aid, C.P R. and S.K.G.A.B.C. or equivalent kayak leadership training. They are chosen for their caring nature, integrity, experience and highly developed outdoor skills. Our guides are always there to provide instruction, answer your questions and address any concerns you may have. At WeGo Kayaking Expeditions' we put our guides through a rigorous week of pre-season in house training annually to ensure that their kayaking safety skills are sharply honed for the coming season.

Each guide carries a complete first aid kit that is regularly updated. The guides also carry premium quality two-way marine radios to summon help if it is ever needed. In addition, we also have a thorough support plan to cover our guests in the rare case that help is needed.

Our thorough training manual is unequalled in the kayaking industry and we operate at a maximum guide to client ratio of 1 to 5, one of the best ratios in sea kayaking. Our maximum guest number is 10 per trip so you are assured to receive the attention you deserve.
