The Main Meeting Area.....

This is our 20' X 12' covered group area. In addition to being the main dining area, it is also where we get together to tell stories, play cards and get to know each other a little better.

The Kitchen.....

Our guides are masters at preparing great meals in the great outdoors and this is where it all happens. There is fresh drinking water available 24 hours a day and our friendly guides are always happy to prepare a hot cup of cocoa, tea or coffee.

Little Cedar Tent Site.....

By using tent platforms not only are we able to locate the tents to take advantage of the best ocean views, but we also lesson our impact on the site overall. This little cedar tree is a great example; we simply adjusted our tent platform to work around this magnificent little fella.

What can we say....a picture is worth a thousand words and a thousand words could never describe the immense beauty of the Broughton Archipelago Marine Park.

The Plateau Tent Sites.....

The location of our private base camp is within the boundaries of the Broughton Archipelago Marine Park, one of the most breathtaking areas in the world. Each of the tents is situated for maximum privacy and great views.

Blackfish Tent Site .....

This is an amazing tent site. From this site you will get an awesome view across Farewell harbour into Blackfish Sound (see below). High tide is really special as the ocean is only a few feet away from your doorstep!

The Tent Platforms......

All of our tent platforms are 12' X 12' in size and although this picture doesn't show it, they are also tarped for extra protection against inclement weather. They provide a nice stable, flat area for sleeping.

Seating and Eating.....

In the main gathering area we have an aromatic cedar picnic table and our funky bench so everyone has a seat for meal time.

The Bear Box......

The large metal box that you see in this picture is called a bear box. It is designed to prevent animals from gaining access to our food supplies. Good for the animals and good for us.
